Know your product. Know your worth.

Product positioning is critical to ensuring your offering resonates with the right audience. By sitting in on customer calls and extensively tested and used SaaS products, I have gained firsthand insight into how users interact with the product and the value they find in its features.

Regular communication with the development team during feature rollouts and gathering client feedback has helped refine messaging. Understanding use cases, collaborating with sales and support for content ideas, and hearing customer terminology all contribute to crafting positioning that is authentic, targeted, and impactful, allowing the product to stand out in a competitive market.

Solving customer pains.

Solving customer pains.

With the product launch of Mono Quick Creator AI, I helped (re)position the value the tool provides to customers.

Initially designed solely as a sales tool, I worked with the development team from prototype to released product.

I learned why the development team included certain features and the value they were intended to provide.

I assisted in Figma prototype creation and created product prototype videos for ongoing collaboration and feedback with partners.

Whether demonstrating the live product or recorded video, I collected feedback from partners. This included:

  • If and how would they use the product

  • Product feedback and suggestions

  • The terminology they used to discuss their pain points and solutions

Then, along with additional customer queries from the Sales and Support teams, and information gathered from a competitor analysis of the market, I could begin to position and create material for Mono Quick Creator AI.

When creating the copy and visuals, I strove to relay the value the product and its features provided.

As the Quick Creator AI tool is new component to the overall Mono Platform, it was important to relay to partners and potential users how to use the product, and how it integrates with the rest of the Mono Platform.

From Partner feedback, the tool was positioned to serve as a fulfilment tool, with the ability to use as a sales tool an added feature.

Additionally, as AI templates were initially supposed to just accompany the release of the Quick Creator AI, these were drawn out a bit more.

The Mono platform allowed for web designers to create their own AI templates that could be reused again and again for quick website fulfilment. This differed from other AI web builders on the market, where there was not much control over the look of sites built with AI.
